Description
As you enter Lumumba hall, the is a monument of an elephant. When i asked what it signifies to some of the students within the hall, surprisingly none of them knew what it signifies. Are they interested in what happens? OR is it just beauty? There is also a model of a man wearing a graduation gown with a condom on his penis. Historically he is called 'Gongom'.Probably it is a message that the students need to protect themselves from STDS including HIV/AIDS. The question is, Does this message mean anything to them? What is the HIV rates in makerere?
